BACKGROUND
Traveller Jones Productions is an award-winning production company based in Chicago. Founded in 1999 by cousins Davidson Cole and John Digles, TJP creates and develops feature films and documentaries as well as integrated marketing entertainment properties that can be distributed across multiple media platforms. The vision of the founders was to create an artist-driven production company to develop and produce innovative and superior film and visual media with a message.
TJP's debut feature, Design, was an official selection of the Sundance Film Festival and won awards at leading fests worldwide. The company quickly established a name for utilizing innovative visual technologies
when Design became the first film to screen as a 35 mm print transferred from an HD assemble of Super 16mm reversal film. This breakthrough process produced an enthralling visual presentation of the film’s moody Super 16 mm stock along with Super 8 mm, anamorphic flashbacks and video story segments.
The company’s debut feature documentary, The 95th, attracted veterans and their families from across the country for its premiere at the Maryland Film Festival.
TJP actively supports arts advocacy and efforts to build incentives for visual media production in the U.S. The company’s principals are regularly featured on industry panels as well as workshops and seminars.
